its a miracle! haha first time i had to do something related to pa after school but i'm home before 10! haha this calls for a celebration. i think is everyone really too tired le. anyway i shall blog abt these past few days.
tuesday was valentines' day. haha we decided to hold a bachelors outing. only those eligable can come. anyway the same group of us decided to go to to NYDC to eat. we initialy wanted to go marina square and try and catch mr tay with his girlfriend which some of us hypothesized to be imaginary. he showed us a picture but some of us still refused to believe he has a girlfriend hahaha. anyway we went to wheelock place NYDC. turned out that there was not enought seats for all of us so we went to this cafe called big O opposite to NYDC. oh man its so idiotically expensive and idiotically small-portioned. the mudpies were okie but i ate this mudpie called darkside and i was sick of it when i was only halfway. elton took the rest. hahaha and the maincourse elton ordered looked like 7dumplings in a very big plate la. steak was good but too small. anyway after that we went to taka to meet linghui, nuanting and christine, which they passed us a box of important documents. it turned out to be a valentines gift for the 5 of us. hahaha the drawing inside is kiddy but its very interesting and unique. haha at least to kayhow it is =p but its one very heavy box. but nonetheless we appreciate your gift to all of us =)
wednesday. what a slacky day. well it was supposed to be a slacky day until my dumb gp teacher decided to use up that GP/MT slot. oh man and i was basically acting as a rock the whole lesson. just stoning. total defense day concert was very smooth in LT5 but i heard it was a totally different thing in the hall. but anyway to those in LT5, very good job. things went on much much more smoothly than i expected. adi sang very well and i'm hooked on to that song le. haha and i'm spreading to the rest of the pa crew. now they're hooked on to it. hahaha. we had the arrival of 2 new speakers and the man was going to set the equilizer today for the road run this friday. oh man the new speakers are IDIOTICALLY heavy. i dunno how the new j1s are going to carry it since the pa j1s are mostly girls. its like up to my chest and weighs like half my weight. but the new speakers are really good. if there was ever another dance party, those speakers are going to rock. quality is really very good. finally learnt what those untouchable buttons on a equalisers are and what they do. anyway after that we had to keep the speakers, then while me and jestyn were trying to pack they up, something happened. hahaha i'm so proud to have left a mark in NJ! i left more than a mark. i left my blood, my skin and my flesh. while trying to put the speakers back into the box my finger got stuck between the rough side of the box and the speaker. then i shouted to jestyn eh stop. then he thought i cannot hold on to the weight of the speakers anymore so he used all his strength to push the speaker into the box. oh man and u all can guess what happened. lucky it wasn't very serious la. but the speaker got my skin and blood haha. and jestyn you owe me a lifetime of breakfast, lunch and dinner =D one mouthful of green apple ice blended with pearls does not make my finger better hahaha.
anyway looking forward to the end of the week once again. heard there is going to be a batch of tanglin students that will come on saturday to nj to come and learn how to operate pa systems and i'm supposed to teach them. thats the easy part. the hard part is trying to come up with a suitable set of notes..
